Bandra's Lemon Grass has been a hit since forever now. People keep raving the food they serve all the time. I never really got a chance to visit there but visiting the sister concerns like Aoi and Masala Zone. After completely enjoying the food at these places, I had to try Lemon Grass. And I did!

For the regulars, there is yet another reason to dine at Lemon Grass, they have revamped to become very cute! The inside section as a vibrant wall painting (something similar to Aoi). The outside sitting looks almost the same but does have a few cosmetic tweaks.

We started our lunch with Passion fruit lemonade (Rs. 110) and Cucumber lemongrass and mint mojito (Rs.120). My mojito was a perfect call for a summer lunch. It felt like the drink dropped my body temperature by a degree or two.

Along with the drinks we ordered for a basket of assorted dumpling. 12 pieces for Rs. 525 with four varieties to try from. If you are three people eating together, this could be perfect for you. But for us, we had to do a little kung fu fighting to claim the last piece of dumpling!

Most of my friends and co-workers keep complaining about loss of appetite during summer. So since a lost few days, I have been on a quest to find a perfect preparation for a summer lunch. With Som Tom classic Thai raw papaya salad (Rs.165), I rest my hunt! This classic salad is a blast of flavours, thanks to the dressing of chilly and tamarind. It is also very filling. The salads are very innovative and perfect for the weather outside.

While eating at Lemongrass, don't miss on any thai food. We tried their specialty Nasi lemak (Rs.325). It was aromatic coconut rice, chicken curry, sambai, hard boiled egg and fresh garden salad. In short there were varied textures on one plate, all that blend really well.

For those of you who enjoy spicy food Char Kwai teow (Rs.325) is for you! These are stir fried flat rice noodles with eggs prawns, sliced chicken, spring onions and fresh herbs. Another signature dish by the chef.

Psst: I spotted Arbaaz Khan outside! Food can make you forget about Arbaaz Khan. Cost wise, It is very well priced and portions are generous as well. Just a heads up, go with a bigger appetite!
